Tom Mahaffey

Tom is currently Owner/Vice President of Mahaffey Apartment Company. He joined the company in 1997 after graduating from Elon University, first at Lynn Lake Arms, and then as Executive Director during the construction of Carlton Arms of Ocala. Afterwards he became the Executive Director at Carlton Arms Bradenton. Now based in the St. Petersburg office, Tom is involved in supervising management, planning and development.

Tom & his wife Shannon Campbell Mahaffey reside in St. Petersburg. They have one daughter Ansleigh, who recently graduated from Tampa Preparatory School where they both were very involved. Tom, himself is a 1993 graduate of Shorecrest Preparatory School. His community involvement includes Great Explorations Board of Directors 2008-2010, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Foundation Board 2009-2011, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Board 2011- 2019 and Academy Prep of St. Petersburg 2016-current. He has also served on the investment, finance, and building and grounds Committees on these boards. He was also a member of the Suncoasters.

Many of his philanthropic endeavors are those that have connected to his organizations that directly affect family and children in the community.
