Chung is a mental health physician. He received his medical degree (M.D.) from St Matthews University School of Medicine. He is trained in trauma therapy, Critical Memory Integration (CMI), certified in psychedelic therapy, integration, harm reduction, and certified in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). He is passionate about all aspects of mental health, especially helping individuals find resolution to their clinical symptoms, tackle internal conflicts, and discover a healthier approach to brain health. He is a vocal advocate of innovative and non-invasive therapeutics in advancing mental health interventions and solutions, such as rTMS, MeRT, tDCS, tRNS, tACS, tCWS, tPBM, Spravato, and Ketamine, as well as, emerging therapeutics, including psychedelics (such as, LSD, psilocybin, and MDMA). In addition, he has a background in clinical research and stays current on the academics of current and emerging treatment solutions.
His therapeutic approach involves identifying an effective balance of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and non-invasive therapeutics to achieve the most impactful resolution of symptoms relief, resolution of internal conflict and discovery of a healthier approach to brain health and mind health. He is a firm believer that the individual is the driving force of their own healing journey; the clinician’s main role is to facilitate this healing process.
In his spare time, he cherishes quality time with his family, embracing nature and the outdoors, especially through overlanding excursions. He enjoys traveling, near and far. He enjoys life and adventure.
